Abstract:
These guidelines and tips for farmers on energy efficiency in farm management focus on diesel consumption in relation to the crops and type of machinery used. They define what should be done in advance to assess soil characteristics, the type of machine to use and the type of route to take in order to minimize diesel consumption. They present examples from the Navarra region.
